Verse 1: It’s so hard to fight this condition A condition defined by the lack thereof Man, the fuse blew out There’s no traveling here The city feels so down And my brain is the dark streets Nothing is ever straightforward When I’m trying to write it down Maybe close but no cigar There’s no traveling here I can’t shut my eyes And my nerves are the lightning Pre-Chorus: Trying to fit a round hole into a square peg Chorus: Stuck in the silence Why can’t it be simple Like we used to do Stolen and disfigured Like we used to do Verse 2: I can never appeal to the chorus It’s all the Tappan Zee when the bolts give way Not one for cover-ups There’s no traveling here And London Bridge burns down How the page looks so empty I need a friend to test my thoughts on No, there’s no traveling here In self-pitied rage And the words are kinetic Bridge: Kaleidoscopic In confusion Comes description Comes creation But it ain’t good anyway Chorus: Stuck in the silence Why can’t it simple Like we used to do Stolen and disfigured Like we used to do Stuck in the silence Why can’t it simple Like we used to do Stolen and disfigured Like we used to do Outro: Like we used to do

Verse 1: Meet with me, in the dark of the street There we'll start believing secretly Utopia Freedom in the inner cell Look for me with a beak A cloak adorned Scent of leaves A void between Foul stench of those above Whispering "inner cell" Pre-Chorus: Dance of the dead Will descend on his head And extend to the Families' hubris Chorus 1: From under the skin, insurrection From hollow logs, from shallow streams And drying seas Verse 2: Let us walk through the night to a place clandestine Free your mind Disregard all you know Infiltrate the inner cell You must not accept his sick version of life itself Disrespect everything Multiply the inner cell Pre-Chorus 2: Dance of the dead Will descend on his head And extend to the Families' hubris Chorus 2: From under the skin, the flesh has rotten Poison has spread, through words unsaid Anemic rule, now hear me say Our time has come, transcending us Above the one, to ego death For now he sits inside the fire Oblivious that we will keep Him in the spire, have found resolve And our own crimes to commit In cold blood as he did his

Verse 1: She's a burnout Smoke and ashes, no tears The destroyer She's in the shadows Staring into oblivion Her wildfire taken over Chorus: She's when the water meets the forest fires That's all she was That's all she was She is the smoke that shields the dark from light That's all she was That's all she was Verse 2: Can't take the shield down Can't peek at what's underneath It's a mystery to me She burns deeper What's left when the mist clears? Her elusive, hid in embers Chorus: She's when the water meets the forest fires That's all she was That's all she was She is the smoke that shields the dark from light That's all she was That's all she was Post-Chorus: ...was That's all she was That's all she was That's all she was Bridge: Will she strip away the city and turn everything to dust? Will she make the light go from her eyes? Or will she return the life that we tore apart? Will she be the one we needed and despise? Chorus: She's when the water meets the forest fires That's all she was That's all she was She is the smoke that shields the dark from light That's all she was That's all she was She's when the water meets the forest fires That's all she was That's all she was She is the smoke that shields the dark from light That's all she was That's all she was Outro: That's all she was That's all she was

Verse 1: A loss Last goodbyes Through the snow and the sun's final rays A fault One mistake, three past Christmas Day I only wish that, maybe, time could be changed Our beings preserved Our endings erased Maybe one day... Verse 2: The shine of a lonely heart Climbing high into mine Climbing high into the burning void A well-oiled life with a memory of rust For a matter of fact, the oil you spat is but two pricks on my tongue Quiet hate from turbulent eyes It will take you again Pre-Chorus: Look what you've done You've put a bag on your head and expanded your lungs Chorus: So let me out and let me stay so true Open your mouth And let me climb away from you Let me out Verse 3: And so I’d wait by the telephone My whole brain is invested Congested Just let it go We’re still friends, but does she really care? Bridge: If you love something you learn to let it go, while you drown in a wave of fire And she meant nothing at all And she was kind to a fault Verum est What to do? Turn to blue Chorus: So let me out And let me stay so true Open your mouth And let me climb away from you Let me out And let me stay so true Let me out Watch me run towards someone new Let me out Written February 2019

Verse 1: So there’s this girl Known her a year She hit on me She had no fear She didn’t mean it Didn’t try to I was taken Now I’m not Time is limping to a stop Feelings that I sent to rot I wish she’d hit on me again I’d take her up this time There’s a normal person here Too overwhelmed and too unclear No motivation No sensation Run so fast, but getting caught Shooting past on fleeting thoughts Anxieties they’re yet to spot Thought they’d end up in their prime Look how they’re holding up Pre-Chorus 1: Look how they curl away Look how they ricochet off the wall Off the wall Look how they steal away Fading Again and again and again and again and again and a— Chorus: It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why we stay inside the lines Verse 2: So there’s this girl Known her a year We hit it off It was so clear Satisfaction No attraction Just a deal Just having fun Never play with loaded guns Don’t think too hard It’s one and done Still I’m always wanting more When will I have enough? Yeah, there’s a lonely person here It’s been two years since all the tears No design Can’t make a sign or stand in line for all too long Need to keep the cameras on Play your music all night long Spotlights flashing on the mark Can you all see them now? Pre-Chorus 2: And gives their heart away Sits waiting night and day For the call For the call Screaming in the shade Fading again and again and again and again and a- Chorus: It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why We stay inside the lines Bridge: Giant steps I take for my little paws Give me some way I can redeem myself Giant steps I take for my little paws Staying the course And it won’t ever change Forever chasing why Giant steps I take for a little pause Give me some way I can redeem myself I’ve taken a reborn child to the end And I will fight for this boy Until your blood turns from blue to red Chorus: It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why It repeats when in distress The calling back and forth inside your head Won’t ever change Forever chasing why we stay inside the lines

Verse 3: It's like the world is gonna end so soon And why should I believe myself? Verse 1: Kill the sun Blood for fun Bring forth the fog Too many smiling twos these eyes have laid upon Verse 2: Error code Text not found Too much exposure The blue light keeps me up From gloaming till break of dawn Chorus: Free this ghost of mine So I may return home To that caring paleness The strands of gold and stone An uncommunicative embrace And the flicker of the cathodes Verse 3: Suffer Suffer A light that flashes behind my closed eyes The crests and troughs That will make me drown In these gooey, disgusting, romantic remarkable thoughts and sounds Verse 4: So you kill the moon Caged like a beast in a zoo Throwing shit through the platinum gates While I sit and wait for someone new While I stare out from rose tinted glasses For Juliets that’ll never happen Locked in time Four months ago 20 months ago That last touch ago The parts I still find in my clothes The repeating chords that helped me to conform Jam: Kill the sun Kill the sun Kill the sun Kill the sun Chorus: Free this ghost of mine So I may return home To the strange embrace of someone else’s hopes and dreams and robes A loving, warm dilate And the flicker of the cathodes
